Artist Statement

The idea for this blog is to search for new things within found objects. To do this I am using a digital camera (DSLR) to photograph images I see on the Internet through my CRT monitor, I am then blowing up sections of these photographs to find new things such as strange shapes, or to just recontextualize the original image. This blog will be broken in to three sections: c, t, and x. C is for work that has been photographed off of a computer screen, T is for work that has been photographed off of a television screen, and X will be for misc. images that do not fit within the two previous categories but that might fit within the idea of this project such as images that have been corrupted.
This project is ongoing, and this blog will updated at least once a week (when possible) with new images.
